partitioning applications

The speed at which manufacturing, distribution and service organisations need to react to remain competitive and at the forefront of their respective industries, requires that they must be able to swiftly re-organise and relocate facilities. To meet these demands Metalrax supply and install two general types of modular partitioning systems from safety and security cages through to semi-permanent offices which can be quickly installed, modified or dismantled as circumstances dictate.

Metascreen Mesh PartitionsMetascreen single skin partitioning is a heavy duty, industrial system used for secure storage areas and protective screening. Constructed from a robust angle framework it is easy to install and is likewise easy to re-locate. The partitioning is economical and suitable for most harsh industrial environments. This range of partitioning is available in full steel, steel and mesh, steel / glass / steel, steel and glass and full mesh types in a range of heights and widths to suit the particular application. Panels can also be multi-tiered to heights beyond those of individual panels.

Sliding doors have low friction bearings for maintenance-free operation. Bottom guide rails do not intrude into the door aperture, allowing full and free access for all types of traffic. Doors are normally supplied with pull handles and padlock hasp or claw locks. Locks can be provided with Europrofile cylinders. Alternatively, single or double leaf hinged doors can be supplied with lever handles and padlock hasp or mortice locks. Locks with Europrofile cylinders are an optional alternative. Hinges can be for standard 90 degree opening or 180 degree hinges to swing both ways.

Metascreen Office PartitionsMetascreen double skin partitioning is flush both sides. Suitable for creating offices, personnel areas, including canteens and rest rooms, and clean rooms. Metascreen DSP is cost effective, easy to install and re-locatable. This system is of a ‘monobloc’ construction with two steel skins separated by an inert mineral wool insulating infill. Removable skirting and vertical junction channels provides access for wiring. In partially glazed panels `clip on’ glazing beads can accommodate glass from 4 mm thick to 12 mm thick.
