In the majority of cases, a mobile shelving system is the preferred format; providing maximum storage capacity within what can be very confined spaces. Some County Record Offices for instance, are fortunate enough to occupy purpose built facilities whilst other Metalrax clients’ are restricted by old buildings which were not initially constructed for storing archival material. Metalrax is able to provide cost effective archive & records solutions to meet the needs of all of our clients.A typical project will start with a full audit of existing documents and records, which might be housed at several addresses, before a draft submission is presented. After consultation with all relevant parties has been completed, a final proposal is submitted for approval and ultimately, acceptance. A close working relationship with the client and the architect will ensure that the final recommendation will be the right working solution.
